A snapshot for your team's sprint or kanban performance, using relevant metrics and attributes to profile how you're designing, building, reviewing and engaging in a given iteration, relative to your usual rate of performance
Your Team Performance Summary is the first page you land on when signing into Umano.
The default view will be the current iteration in progress for your team. Let’s walk through the features of what your team's summary includes, working our way from top to bottom.
“Umano” refers to your default project. Select the down arrow to choose another Project Space for another project that you’re managing.
“WebbApp Sprint Report 5.0” refers to the name of the sprint currently in progress. Select the down arrow to choose another sprint that you’d like presented in your Project Space.
1. Delivery Workflows
The Performance Summary displays your team’s current performance across Design & Build and Review stages of the software delivery lifecycle. It all provides insight into your team’s Engagement practices.
2. Performance Attributes
Within each workflow, Umano displays desired attributes of high performing agile teams. For example, within the Design & Build workflow, Umano profiles your team’s Speed, Progress and Stability attributes.
3. Performance Measures
As your team aspires to build proficiency in a specific attribute, they can track their progress with supporting measures, which we call Agile Success Metrics. For example, if a team’s focus is on improving their speed, they can defer to Lead Time and Cycle times a s a measure of how long it takes them to ship an idea from creation.
4. Score
The value displayed for each measure represents your current progress score, calculated since the commencement of the iteration.
5. Star
Star icons appear when your team’s performance score for the current iteration is stronger than your usual, rolling performance.
6. Track Bar
The Track Bar to the right of the value maps your current progress score relative to your usual performance score for that particular measure. The black line marker visualises your usual performance relative to current iteration performance.
7. Rolling Performance (Usual)
Your Rolling Performance score is the median score from your prior six iterations. We refer to your rolling performance score as your ‘usual’ performance.
8. Drivers
Selecting the ‘+' symbol displays the drivers that influence your performance for the iteration you are viewing. Drivers provide insight into your team’s underlying practices and behaviours affecting the measure, and attribute your team aspires to improve.
9. Charts
Selecting the ‘>' symbol will take you to the corresponding chart for that metric. Viewing supporting charts and supporting data that’s surfaced directly from your tools allows for greater interrogation and understanding of what activities and practices are directly affecting your performance.
