Sometimes you want the full lens of how your team is performing. A quick pass of the eye to ensure the team is delivering as planned and picking up any unexpected changes to practices that may need attention.

At other times, you may simply choose to be focused on one or a few specific practices you're working on improving as a team, or measures more tailored to your role and the unique jobs you have to do in supporting the team's success.

You can filter your Team Performance summary based on the measures that matter most to you.

Selecting a filter will change how you view your project space only, and will not affect what your team members see in their project space.

Choosing a Pre-defined Filter

Umano's pre-defined filters are suggested measures that you may be interested in based on your role, the specific job to be done as a team or the agility outcome you're focussed on improving.

Role Type

  • Tech Lead

  • Scrum Master

  • Agile Coach

  • Delivery Lead

  • CTO

Jobs to be done

  • Planning

  • Reviewing

  • Stand-up

Agility Outcome

  • Speed

  • Progress

  • Quality

  • Predictability

  • Engagement

You can view all of the metrics assigned to the pre-defined filters by selecting the 'edit' icon next to the filter title.

You can change any of the metrics assigned to the predefined filter by creating a custom filter.

Create Custom Filters

Start with a pre-defined filter, select or unselect any measures you want to focus on, provide a new title and finish by saving your new custom filter.
This filter can then be chosen from your saved custom filters.

Create your customer filter from a clean slate by selecting '+ Create New'.
Select the measures you want to make visible on your project space, give your filter a title and select 'Save'.
This filter can then be chosen from your saved custom filters.

Custom filters are saved to your personal log-in. Team members will not see your custom filters.

Select Recent Filters

Commonly used filters are saved to 'Recent Filters', and can be removed from this list by selecting the 'X' next to the filter title. You will not be deleting this filter. You can access any filter from either the Predefined or customer group.

Send Reports using filters

When sending a report to yourself, the email summary will include only those metrics displayed on the filter chosen when you send the email. Change or remove any filter based on the team practices you wish to make visible in your email report.

Removing Filters

Unselect filters to restore your Project Space to its original state and make all metrics visible and accessible in both the Team Performance Summary and Charts.

Filters are available with the purchase of your Umano subscription.
