Notes Introduction
Whilst metrics are an important element to making any team’s performance observable, they often are only telling one side of the story. A fuller picture is created when teams are empowered to share context, rationale and insert their lens on the ‘why’ a metric may be rating the way that it is.
It's combining the objective facts that present from metrics along with the subjective context that is added from Notes that matter when reflecting on how a team performs, and what action is needed to adapt if needed.
Where can Notes be added
Team members can add a Note where they see the Notes symbol on a page, in the top right of their team space toolbar.
Notes can be added to the Planner, Tracker (summary and each metric page) for each active interval or macro increment.
Notes can be added via the Team Input tab on Reviewer for active and macro cycles.
How to add a note
The Notes editor opens from the right of your screen when you select this symbol.
You can create a note by writing in the open text field where you see ‘Share your thoughts’.
Save your Note by selecting the Tick icon.
Delete your note by selecting the ‘X’ icon.
Once a note is saved, it will be added to the Notes Stream for that page, for that Interval.
You’ll see your saved notes for any given page or interval by opening up the Notes icon.
Edit a Note
Hover on the note you wish to edit, and you’ll see an icon with three dots appear, along with a tool tip labelled ‘More actions’.
Actions include the ability to Edit or Remove a note.
Only the Note creator and the workspace Admin can Edit or Remove notes.
Like a Note
Anyone from the team can like a team member’s Note by selecting the thumbs up button.
