Codify your way of working to get everyone on the same page; link to Goals and Guardrails where relevant.

Updated over a week ago

A Practice describes a particular ceremony, experiment or principle that codifies your team’s unique way of working. You can link a Practice to a Goal or Guardrail or it can exist independently.

  • You can link Goals to a practice (and vice versa).

  • You can link Guardrails to a practice (and vice versa).

Defining practices can be a helpful way to be explicit about how your team chooses to work, and allows other teams with permission to view what practices you’ve defined to help set your team’s way of working up for success.

Create a Practice:

Select the ‘Create’ button on the top right of your Practice hub page.

The Practice creation widget will then open for you to type in the description of the Practice you wish to log. You can then link your practice either to a Goal and/or Guardrail.

Finalise this set-up process by selecting ‘Create’ at the bottom of this widget.

Your Practice will then be displayed on your Practice hub.

Edit a Practice:

You can edit a Practice by selecting the three dots on the top right of each Practice listed in your Practice hub.

The Practice creation widget will open for you to edit the description or links to Goals and Guardrails.
